Coasting over Christmas

There's no buses on Christmas day so it was a rush to get everyone's bike back together to get ourselves across London for a good feed and massive piss up.
Ashas Archie Wilkenson speedway bike had been taken apart

and put back together on the Ribble frame with the rear wheel I stripped so now is just freewheeling.

Im using the coaster hub wheel on my track frame for a while till my new rims come in.

Also I got some new tyres and pedals for my mountain bike

but they were a little bit to big

so I axed the frame up.

oh well ..
Hope you guys like the new banner.
See you in 2009.

stick a tapered crank bolt in the chainring bolt hole and file out the hole in the chainring so it snug. Do it up tight so the taper is really wedged in and the chainring has no room to wiggle free.
Also a good idea to get the spindle machined down. I took 5mm off each side you could take more.
yeah
Mine are fucked now by the way. As soon as you get a little movement in the arms the fixie backy forthy movement will wear the splines on the arms. They were really old when I got them, I think my spindle is ok so I might get new arms when I got some money.

Get a splined sprocket - I think Tree BMX makes them. They spline straight on to your profile spindle like the cranks. I think they only make 'em in smallish sizes though.

yea only up to 36T, i think small sprokys look lame on big bikes, imo

yeah splined sprokets sound like a good idea, looks profile is gonna make a splined spider which is kinda dumb cause everyone wants to run there fav sprokets anyway and if you machine the spindle down to make your cranks narrower you run out of spline to use.
whats this custom bolt look like davey? sounds interesting
